Biography

Following a career as an award-winning graphic designer and art director, I now concentrate on painting, drawing and photography.

I am inspired by the landscape, the human form and the human condition. I am particularly drawn to my current surroundings of the rolling East Devon countryside and the wild atmosphere of Dartmoor National Park, together with the Scottish Highland wilderness.

I paint primarily in oils, working ‘en plein air’ and in my home studio in Rousdon.

I have exhibited at the Riverside Art Centre in Walton-on-Thames, the Malthouse Gallery in Lyme Regis, the Bomb Shelter in Beer, the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton, in regular shows at the Sou’Sou’ Gallery in Bridport, and as part of the Annual Exhibition of the Seaton & District Art Society.
